Our story

We bring clarity to everyday pet care.

silverglen-harbor began as a volunteer-led rescue support group. Our early work focused on helping anxious pets settle into new homes with simple routines and confidence-building exercises.

Over time, families asked for the same structured support beyond the adoption phase. We expanded into full care planning, bringing together pet sitters, behaviour specialists, and nutrition advisors.

What makes us different

We work with the household, not just the pet. That means writing clear routines, practical checklists, and gentle guidance that can actually be followed.

Routine-led Gentle handling Home-focused

Values

Respect the animal

We read body language and respond with patience, never pressure.

Work with real life

Plans are built around jobs, family schedules, and available time.

Teach through clarity

We break behaviour guidance into steps that feel manageable.

Leadership

Meet the care team.

Mara Lowell leads care planning and specialises in anxious dogs and transition routines.

Oliver Kent supports behaviour observation and enrichment planning for cats and small mammals.

Ruth Daniel manages follow-up visits and makes sure families feel confident with new routines.

Company philosophy

Consistency creates security.

Most behavioural concerns come from stress or confusion. We focus on the small, repeatable actions that help pets predict what comes next.

Our goal is long-term stability: fewer disruptions, calmer homes, and pets that trust their environment.
